Legal support and research volunteers for the Street Children Projects in Kumasi would be involved in workshops and research dealing with legal matters pertaining to vulnerable women and children.
Legal Support and Research Volunteers will help organizations with researching and drafting reports and with the promotion of the results in an effort to improve human rights in the host country. Placements tend to focus on gathering information regarding women and child rights and assisting with it's dissemination.
While volunteers with a legal, public policy or research background are certainly sought, volunteers need not have specific training or experience to be able to lend a hand.
Currently we only have a few of these placements in our system as this program category is fairly new. So, if you are interested in Human Rights work that you do not see outlined here, please use the contact us form on the right side of the page to let us know what you are looking for. Our team would be happy to work with you to see if we can find an appropriate placement.
